Task-2  1. (Par 3) The police asked where, ~ breaking in to school. => Change to direct speech.
The police asked where he had been, and the man admitted that he had been in a completely different neighborhood that night, breaking into a school.
=> The police asked/said (to the criminal), “Where were you?”
The man said/admitted, “I was in a completely different neighborhood that night, breaking into a school.”
2. Choose one of the four stories, read it aloud and write one or a few sentences to describe what you would do if you were the criminal using the second conditional,
“If I were the criminal, I would/wouldn’t …”
