News-1 ホームページリニューアルついて

8月号でご案内した新しいホームページがアップされています。今年度から始まる高校生の目標別のコースについてなど、詳しい説明がありますので、ぜひご覧ください。

News-2 2015年第2回英検実施のご案内

10月11日(日)に 5級、4級、3級、準2級はMEL Schoolで、2級は本会場で実施します。

5級    13:10 集合  14:20 終了予定 検定料 1,500円      
4級      9:40 集合  11:10 終了予定 検定料 1,600円
3級    13:10 集合  14:40 終了予定 検定料 2,800円
準2級     9:40 集合  11:35 終了予定 検定料 4,100円
2級    13:00 集合  15:15    終了予定 検定料 5,000円 (本会場受験)

なお、3級以上の一次試験合格者は11月8日(日)二次(面接)試験があります。

申込締切 9月15日(火)
受験希望者はスクールの用紙に受験級と名前を記入し、締切までに検定料を名前を書いた封筒に入れて持参してください。


News-3 校外イベント実施報告
8月5日(水)に夏休みの校外イベントとして品川で水族館+ランチビュッフェを楽しみました。
目玉のイルカショーでは雨具を着て元気なイルカたちの立てる水しぶきを浴びながら、たくさんの声援を送りながらライブを楽しみました。
ランチはホテル最上階のビュッフェダイニングを一部貸し切り、素晴らしい眺めと食事を満喫しました!
夏休みで人出も多かったのですが、卒業生の大学生2名も参加してくれ、全員が楽しい時間を過ごしたようです。

Update 2学期の主な予定
秋は祝祭日が多い季節ですが、MEL School のレッスンはお休みがありません。特に新入生は祝祭日のレッスンを忘れないように気を付けてください。冬休みは12月24日からです。
各クラスのレッスン日に合わせて10月末にはHalloween イベント、12月21日-23日にはクリスマスイベントを行います。
*お手元にスクールカレンダーのない方はお知らせください。

ご不明な点やご相談はお気軽にお知らせください。

It's rainy and cool today.

It is said an autumnal rain front is sitting here.
I can't believe we were suffering from heat waves only two weeks ago.
We reviewed the vocabulary we learned a while ago.
The words are not the ones you can memorize easily.
I think I told you before, according to a research, we need to encounter a new word at least 17 times to memorize.
Learning a foreign language is a surely long way to go.
If you keep trying, there's a great chance to use it in the very end!
Never give up!

The Ogasawara Islands locate 1,000 km south of Tokyo and are one of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites for their rare plants and diverse marine creatures. The islands are suitable place for researchers to study how such unique natural environment and lives have evolved.
